ಸಾರಾಂಶ - The Rainbow ಈ ಪದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕವಿ Christina Rossetti ಇವರು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಹಲವಾರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಚರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕವಿಯವರು ನಿಸರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೋಡಗಳ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು, ಆ ಮೋಡಗಳ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜಹಾಜು ಮತ್ತು ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಡುಗುಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಡಗಳು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಎರಡನೆಯ ಚರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಕವಿಯವರು ನದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಸೇತುವೆಗಳು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು ಗಿಡಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶದವರಿಗೆ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
